Usmate Velate (MB), northern Italy – 12,000 m2 - new production plant

CITT Trattamenti Termici Srl was founded in the sixties as a manufacturer of heating elements for furnaces. Ten years later it began its transformation by opening its doors to the industrial plant engineering sector, until the opening of its first small in-house treatment room in the early 1980s.
The profitability of this sector drove the opening of a branch office in Vittuone, dedicated entirely to the heat treatment of metals.

The acquisition in 2019 by Colombo Special Fasteners Srl gave rise to a partnership that has enabled the company to further expand and diversify the range of services it offers, as well as the opening of its new plant in Usmate Velate, in the province of Monza and Brianza, developed entirely in a 5.0 key and equipped with state-of-the-art, fully modernised facilities.

CITT Srl was acquired in 2019 by Colombo Special Fasteners, an Italian company, located in the province of Bergamo, which is a leader in the cold forming of special fasteners to customer drawings.

An initial phase of company re-branding was followed by the installation of two new furnaces and the complete renovation of the facilities in the new Usmate Velate plant, which was completely built in a 5.0 perspective and according to an eco-sustainable company policy.

“After many years of trustful collaboration, we decided to join forces by combining technical efficiency and skills to create a dynamic and above all customer satisfaction-oriented partnership.”
